A Ward 4 That Works
Platform
5 Priorities
1. Infrastructure That Works
Better-maintained roads, sidewalks, drainage, parks and municipal assets; preventive maintenance before expensive deterioration; and public tracking of Ward 4 capital projects.
2. Safer Neighbourhood Streets
Evidence-based traffic calming, safer crossings and school zones, pedestrian improvements, better winter maintenance accountability, and before/after measurement to determine whether interventions actually work.
3. Protect Ward 4’s Places
Protect and improve Mill Pond, parks, trails, mature trees, heritage areas and neighbourhood character. Support the approved Mill Pond revitalization while publicly tracking its budget, schedule and results.
4. Growth With Infrastructure
Neither “development at any cost” nor “no development.” Major growth should be considered alongside roads, traffic, stormwater, parks, services and community infrastructure.
5. Accountable City Hall
A Ward 4 infrastructure dashboard, service-performance scorecard, annual accountability report, regular town halls and public reporting showing what was promised, what was completed, what it cost and what was delayed.
